FOUNDED ON ACCESSIBLE EXPRESSION
WheelHQ.ca was started by a sole long-time diehard auto enthusiast in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Originally a Volkswagen/Audi nerd, I got my first car in high-school, a 1986 Volkswagen Jetta Coupe. It was an absolute beauty but it unfortunately had a rebuilt title and the notoriously finicky and unreliable CIS fuelling system. A short time later I ended up scoring 1990 Jetta Coupe (the more desirable 89-92 late model) that I rebuilt and still have today. That’s where the journey began. The Story
Circa 2010 I started collecting wheels to put on my car and also seed into the VW community so that my homies would have cool wheels too. At that time I didn’t care to make money so much as to change up wheels every month. Not literally but you get the idea.
Fast forward to university a few years later where I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Admin degree. I was working at Kal Tire as a tire tech and also found myself selling car parts to make extra cash. I knew that wheels and tires were the right products to focus on because, never mind the relative ease of selling wheels vs. car parts, the excitement people would get when putting new wheels on their whip is what did it for me. Because I get it. It’s like getting a fresh pair of kicks, only a thousand times better. So I doubled down on wheels! I also take winter snow tires very seriously. Winter tires offer unparalleled safety and security in the winter—something that could prevent an accident or save a life.
After university, I sold VWs for 5 months at a brand new VW dealership knowing it would likely be temporary. But I loved the experience and met some awesome people. Y’all know who you are! I then got lucky and snagged a media role at Innovative Autoworx Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where I’m still at today and love my job! Innovative is a specialty wheel and tire shop that does all kind of wheel/tire setups and lift/lowering kits for cars, trucks, SUVs, and even side-by-sides and other UTVs. I focus on the media, marketing, Instagram, Facebook, online stores, and online sales. Innovative’s primary focus is truck wheels, tires, and lifts.

I created this website to serve as a crux of all that I am—passion for automotive, creativity, expression, adventure, and service to name a few. This site will be the catch-all outlet for the more unique new and pre-owned wheels, tires, and accessories, as well as high quality OEM/factory take-off wheels and tires. Mostly everything on this site will be single items with only one in stock. Once it's gone, it's gone!
With 15+ years of personal automotive experience and a combined 75+ years (!!!) of experience between the team at Innovative Autoworx, the resources are available to find you the right wheel for your ride.
